Greetings!

My name is Melissa Croy and I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC). I am licensed in Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Oregon. I provide both in-person (Thursdays, in New York City) and telehealth therapy in Eastern Standard Time.

Welcome! I am a former Air Force officer and musical theatre performer bringing unique perspective to the healing process. I have extensive training and experience working with active-duty military, veterans, performing artists, LGBQTIA+, and minority populations. My clinical focus includes those living with ADHD/ADD, survivors of childhood/adult trauma and abuse (particularly survivors of abuse from those with Narcissistic Personality Disorder/high-conflict personalities), creative/performing artists, active-duty military, and veterans. Please note - I do not treat Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

 

I utilize an eclectic, holistic, integrated approach in my practice and I primarily draw from Trauma-Informed, Strengths-Based, Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My approach is largely informed by the systemic forces which shape our world and experiences. I am trained in and integrate Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).mosaic therapy ny

I serve adults challenged with anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, trauma, interpersonal conflict, intimacy, grief, and loss, and challenges with focus, concentration, low motivation, and executive functioning. I staunchly believe clients are the experts on their own experiences and I look forward to joining you on your healing path at a pace that is comfortable to you. Prioritizing your goals and pace for therapy are of the utmost importance to me.

I am an out-of-network provider. If you are interested in utilizing out-of-network benefits, please contact your insurance company to determine coverage/reimbursement. I provide courtesy claims to insurance for out-of-network benefits and can also provide superbills. I offer a limited amount of sliding scale slots. My fee is $300 per session.
